What is a scar?

Where does a scar come from?  

  • operations, cuts, injuries, burns, scalds, striations, abrasions, ulcers, inflammations etc

 

What kind of impact and after-effects can a scar have?

  • pain, burning, itchiness, sensation of tension, numbness of the scar and its surroundings, poor elasticity, paraesthesia, accumulation of fluid in the area of the scar, limited mobility, less resilience of the skin, disturbed sensation of temperature and pain, cosmetic and emotional strain, encapsulation of the scar (it does not belong to me) etc
